We all slept in and ate a hearty bowl of Cheerios. We haven't really got into cooking at breakfast time. Besides, i think the gas tank was out of gas or at least it appeared to be. Each camping trip is a struggle for me to remember how to operate everything. I tried using gas for the refrigerator - nothing happened. The fridge is another story.

Basically, the children made friends with other children, we shot a little basketball and Rusty "almost" made a new friend. A friendly gentleman had a 12 year old black Lab and we tried to introduce the two dogs. Rusty was a little intimidated by the size of the Lab (named Taz), so we didn't get too far.

The rest of the day was spent gathering wood and pretending i was Daniel Boone. We were having some friends over that night and i wanted to make sure there was plenty of wood to burn. We hauled trees from all over the park. Then i used a dull hatchet to chop them up... "Dan'l Boone was a man, yes a big man..."
